The AccessAbility Software series has
been upgraded from client-server based to web based. All original
functionalities are still in the products, and enhancements have been made. The
most important changes, however, have been infrastructural. Clients may now use
the AccessAbility modules from any computer
on the Internet.

Distributive Processing Systems, Inc. is pleased to
announce the arrival of AccessAbility's newest business
application designed for
.Net:
AccessAbility QuickBooks Importer
TM
scheduled
for release in Q4 2005.
The
AAQBI application
will extract data from Intuit
QuickBooks company files for use in a company's intranet website
to provide additional adhoc reporting and integration into key components of
AccessAbility Project Manager
TM
and
AccessAbility Inventory Manager
TM.
Using XML as the source data stream from QuickBooks,
AAQBI will upload
extracted data to MS SQL Server for use with
AccessAbility Reporting Manager
TM
using MS Reporting Services
and MS SharePoint Services giving the end users
real-time time and financial information for project management
purposes.
Using Internet Explorer as the front end (other
browsers will not work) users will be able to query the data sources and make
requests to the accounting department for progress billing to the end
customer. The application will integrate with AccessAbility's
flagship application, AccessAbility
Inventory Manager
TM
to provide data for value-added
inventory-cost calculations
and upload sales and costs-of-goods-sold
information directly into Intuit
QuickBooks without manual creation of journal entries.
